Quady North — Attraction in Jacksonville

Quady North is a delightful winery and a gift to the Rogue Valley. A friend had brought over a 2018 Chelsea Rose Pet-Nat that I loved and I called the winery to see if they had any bottles left to buy. Britney responded immediately and 1) let me know that there was only a few bottles left and set aside some for me and 2) set up a tasting reservation for me & my husband. When we arrived for the tasting and to pick up the wine, we had one of the best wine tasting experiences ever thanks to Jordan! She regaled us with fun knowledge & facts for 90 minutes as she walked us through our flight and the extra glasses we ordered. I learned so much about Quady North, wine growing and wine history.... everything felt like a fun fact. Quady wine is great for any occasion, and making a visit to enjoy the ever evolving flights as the days get warmer is a must- especially at their new location! There is nothing better than stopping for a meal or light lunch in Jacksonville before driving through the beautiful Applegate to sample the views and stellar vintages. Jorden works hard and takes very good care of the customers that come through, myself included! Both hostesses in the tasting room have a great knowledge of their wines and I always learn something new every time I go in. I attended a casual class at Quady North recently to learn more about wine (I'm a neophyte) and to taste some Rose wines and thoughtful pairings. Even though I was ridiculously late they were warm and accommodating and Joe took great care in catching me up and making sure I had a chance to taste all the wines they were pouring. When I advised her that I had no idea how to properly taste wine, she gave me a crash course and enthusiastically answered all of my questions. Great experience, great wine, great people!
