The wooded trails wind through a huge stretch of untouched nature, and even though you're still in Janesville, it feels like you're a world away. Whether you’re out for a thoughtful walk, a morning run, or just letting your kids explore, the place has a calming energy that’s hard to explain but easy to feel.

Read moreI never really go to the playground area as I don't have any kids, one time me and some friends went at night so it wouldn't be crowded bc it is basically ALWAYS crowded during the day (even with the whole covid-19 stuff it was super crowded which worried me a bit but the trails are literally never crowded) to use the swings and I walked around the playground and if i was a kid id of probably had a blast. However the part I go back for is the skiing/hiking/biking trails. They are my main go to if I wanna hike on a trail somewhere other than on the one I live by, there's tons of variety in the trails and there's a couple bridges with really pretty streams the only thing that worries me is bugs cuz its by water and some dense foliage off to the edges of the trails so I always load up on bug spray before going as I never go during the cold season when the bugs...
