Update: we had to stop volunteering because of the dust in the museum. So if you have dust allergies or asthma, I would not volunteer.
Otherwise, it's still a phenomenal place to really get up close to historical items and speak with people who are passionate about what they do.
Old: This is a super small museum with very eclectic objects. They are combining multiple collections and are in the process of compiling all of the artifacts in preparation for a larger facility.
They have earth sciences, ancient history, paleontology, and even space artifacts. You can purchase pouches of dinosaur bones and see some of the moving dinosaurs they use for exhibitions.
It is honestly like Aladdin's cave and if you want to get up close and personal with history I highly recommend.
