Read moreThis is a moderate hike, about an hour (1.75 miles approx) in each direction. The first part is mostly a dirt trail with some stones sticking out of the ground, mostly level with some inclines. Once you get past the .75 mile marker, you're walking over larger stones and boulders, some slightly inclined areas, until you get to the Cove. The trail is well marked with white square diamond blazes.
The overlook is a must. Check out the view from the right and left.
