Very unique cave, and definitely worth a quick stop by. It really does feel like a unique biome nestled into Tennessee here, lots of different bugs, snails and odd things in the water. We were hoping to spot one of those white crayfish, but those are probably deeper in the cave and we didn't want to mess around in there. Still not quite sure if there was more to see around here. I'd heard there was some way to walk around it more, but we couldn't find it. Hopefully we will figure it out next time.

Sequatchie Cave is the perfect place for an afternoon picnic and a wade in the cave branch looking for critters in the cool, cool water. It's a hidden gem! There's a beautiful area with picnic tables an a BBQ grill. A table by the branch with a short path to take a little dip. A wonderful, shady area with springs coming up in the grassy area. What a great place to find to explore nature!

We stopped to eat our take out meal from Jasper’s BBQ. Was a nice little park and a family was wading in the water. The grass could use a mowing. As you approach the cave, you can feel the cool air. So cool! Since there was a family there with their children, we didn’t take any photos or videos, but I have some videos of the yummy food. We ate at the picnic table.🤣

I was told previously that this area was trashy but when I visited this area 3/20/23 it was pretty clean and was much more enjoyable then I was expecting it. was actually a really nice place and even had a few concrete picnic tables available. Other then the tables and the cave and water, there is not much more to it other than nature it self. However I do need to add that it does seem to be a private area down a road that some people like to facilitate the use of drugs, When I arrived here this was actually occuring and the persons windows were all fogged up and after I parked they drove off fairly quickly. I have heard that people use this area for that reason and so it must be true. it doesnt seem like police monitor it as often as they should. and I would not recommend coming here alone for...

This place is not big, located in the middle of nowhere, and might not appeal to anyone that doesn't love nature. That said, it is a beautiful little spot that offers air conditioning. Yes, you heard correctly. It is air conditioned. The air in caves rests at an even temperature somewhere around 54 degrees year round. That means that standing in front of this cave even on really hot days, you will not break a sweat. I only refrain from giving this a fifth star because the entrance into the cave is not very accessible, though not required to enjoy the beauty and amazing effect of natural air...

Small cave, with a little creek running out from it. The area is decently maintained it is very small. There are a few picnic tables, no noticable trails except the little foot path to the creek. It seems the locals unfortunately do not care for the area. There were lots of littered alcohol bottles and random articles of clothing here and there. The area is supposed to be protected for the sake of certain wildlife creatures. One thing we found fascinating was the temperature change as we approached the cave. You can feel the air changing temperature at least...
