The Barn at Shady Grove — Attraction in Jasper

I may be biased, but I don’t think so! I grew up in this town and have always appreciated the beauty of God’s canvas in this area. After moving away to live in the Trussville area for almost 30 years, and traveling all over the state, I can honestly say The Barn at Shady Grove is one of the most beautiful and warm welcoming venue you’ll find! I have attended many beautiful weddings and other events all over, but this one grabs your heart! You feel like the event was planned and specialized for you, even when it’s not about you!! Ken that and Shannon dedicate their time and efforts in continuously adding many large and small details to this property, so others can enjoy it like you will. Each event we attend, even last week for a special recognition of an amazing man in the community that spent 42 years as a coach, teacher, administration and more, was uniquely designed for his moment. It did not feel like the other weddings, reunions, etc that we’ve attended. Ken and Shannon make each event unique and special, so no one we’ll ever feel like they are part of a production line or cookie cutter event. My husband and I got married here in October of 2023. I cannot say enough good things about Ken and Shannon and their gorgeous venue. They were so helpful and organized throughout the whole process. Shannon was so helpful answering evering little question, making sure we were prepared and had thought of everything. We had all live music during our ceremony and Ken did a perfect job having all of the sound equipment and microphones we needed. He also did such a great job being our MC and making all the announcements as the reception was underway.

The venue is absolutely beautiful and made the perfect place for our wedding. The brides house was perfect for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. It was so nice. The groom snd groomsmen loved the saloon! It's such a cute house! The outdoor ceremony was so beautiful and intimate feeling. The barn speaks for itself! It is so gorgeous and was perfect for our reception. The chandelier and lights make for the perfect romantic ambiance. Literally can't say enough good things about this venue. Besides the fact that it's actually affordable, my husband and I felt like we were family with the owners by time our wedding was over. Such a beautiful venue, family, and everything about this business. Ken also did an amazing job keeping our day flowing and was an incredible DJ. Shannon was an amazing supporter throughout the whole process and made wedding planing so smooth and painless. I hope you book with them and have the same experience as we did.
