McClung Park — Attraction in Jefferson City

Nice neighborhood park with covered pavilion, BBQ pits, seating, children's playground equipment and large grassy area's for all kinds of family fun, it has a lower entrance directly across the street from the grandstand side of the Lincoln Blue Tiger Football field and an upper entrance off Moreau drive - its probably the least known city park, its very clean and well kept up and one call to JC Parks and Rec and you can schedule your event, oh yes, it also has an indoor area for wedding parties and about any social function complete with a huge, modern kitchen and beautiful hardwood floors -...

It's a little difficult to get here with the location south of Lincoln University on a street that only allows north-bound traffic through the campus, plus a very steep drive up that would be unsafe in snow or ice.
