I’m not usually picky when it comes to parks, but I didn’t have the best experience. Trails weren’t marked and there were lots of forks in the road. For there not being any trail heads or maps, I wasn’t sure how long I’d be walking or whether or not I’d get lost. It ended up being easy, (only walked a little over a mile), but I didn’t like the uncertainty.
Lots of the trails led to dead ends — unless you want to walk through spider web trees and narrow paths with lots of weeds.
Lots of spider webs, so I recommend walking around with a stick to clear the way. And very mosquito friendly, so wear big spray as well.

Read moreI visit this trail fairly frequently for walks with my dog through the main trail. The trail is a moderate hike, with some slight elevation changes and two stream crossings. One of these crossings is a bit steep so it would be nice to have a bridge in this area. Aside from that, the trail meanders through the woods and it is pretty easy to navigate. My only major complaint is that there are no trash cans ANYWHERE in this park - not at the entrance/parking lot, not at the shelter. How can you not expect some trash to be present if you don't have trash...
