Kooser State Park — Attraction in Jefferson Township

Beautiful Area...We Rent a Cabin Here, Every Summer 🌞 For A Week with our 15 yr old Daughter....We Just Love It! And The Restrooms, Are Never Too Far Away, From The Cabins... That's 👍 Great Too. 😉 Ride Our Bikes Around and Walk Around On The Beautiful 😍 Hiking Trails, Exploring, There's a Lil' Creek Like That Comes Through, Part Of The Park 🏞️...and There's a Few Lil' Playground Area's, For The Kid's, and Not Far At All, There Is A Artificial Beach Area, There With A Nice Playground There, Lot's Of Sand, A Volleyball Net, I Believe... And The Rangers Station Is Right 👍 There At The Beach, Actually On The Beach, There Is Paddle Boat Rentals, and ALot Of People Kayaking, And There Is Also, Kayak Rentals, and Those, Like Bike's with the big floating wheels, you pedal on the water 🌊 Too.... And Last Thing I can Think Of Besides "ALot Of Picnic Tables and Grills Area's", a Couple Large Pavilions, As Well, Is Lastly Sometimes, They Have A Lil' Stand, They Sell Like Hamburger and Hotdogs,Ice Cream,Etc.. But Not Always Open, usually summer 🏝️ and a few earlier hours in the day, oh, last thing is, Nice 🚻 Restrooms and Even a Couple 🚿 Shower's Their,As Well 😁🌄!! Ok. Worst camping experience of my life. The tent site had no where to put a tent. It was on a slope, and was nothing but mud, roots, and rocks. The one flat spot was at the bottom of the site, and you could clearly see that all of the water coming down the hill washes right into it, which explains why it was a mud pit. The booking site said it was private, but there is a clear view into the site from both of the other tent sites since they are practically on top of each other. Looking for a quiet night in the woods? Don't stay here. There is constant truck traffic up and down the road all night long. I could have saved my money and stayed at a rest stop along the highway. It would have been more peaceful and more...

I used to go there as a child almost every weekend. It was on our way to my grandparents camp. We would stop and swim. Alot of good memories. Very beautiful and clean. Well maintained. I took my wife there to show her the place I told her the story's about. Not anything like it was. Can't swim there anymore, really run down and and not maintained much. Looks like the grass gets cut 1-2 times a month. Benches and picnic tables falling apart and covered with moss. Fire pits grown over. They used to have grlls for cooking, not anymore. Say what was left of one I think. It's sad. Use to be a beautiful small park a family could spend the whole day and have fun and relax, now you better off just...
