Lowe-Volk Nature Center @ Crawford Park District — Attraction in Jefferson Township

Lowe-Volk Nature Center Halloween Family Fun Night was a blast! The evening was spent with tons of families and fun. Hot chocolate, hayrides,bobbing for apples,crafts,free books from the Bucyrus Library,face painting, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows,scarey hike trail,fun hiking trail(not scarey),treat bags,holding a tarantula (did not touch.lol),the kids were loving holding it, Pin the spider on the web and pictures with kids and families with the spooky moon backdrop. The Staff and Volunteers did a great job and made this an extremely fun event for everyone. Thank you Lowe-Volk Nature Center for another great family...

Really neat place to visit, lots of things to do, from fishing, hiking and enjoying the nature center. Definitely a place to bring your kids.

Some of the trails are laid out, others are rough with high roots. There is a river that runs along it. There is a pond for catch n release fishing along with a beehive and Ohio native plants and flower's

Bring sunscreen and bug repellant as this place is El natural with Nature. The skeeters will carrier you away.

Nature center has everything from stuffed showcases of local wildlife to living turtles and snakes, bones, geology...

It is a fun and educational place to spend an afternoon with the kids. Always have exciting new and different events for kids of all ages. We have gone as a family the past 3 years to their "Halloween Family Fun Night" and my kids always have a great time. They love it every year and always ask to go back. Even after going 3 years in a row, they always have something new to offer. The entire staff are friendly and helpful....
