The venue itself was absolutely beautiful. We would give the venue it 5 stars. We are giving it 3 because of the coordinator. Her whole tone changed with us after she asked us if they could use a drone for their marketing. She never contacted our videographer before asking us, and he was quite upset, as he was already bringing his own drone and two drones at one wedding are too much. After this she seemed extremely indifferent towards us. We gave her his contact information more than once and she never contacted him. She never contacted any of our vendors. She was posting about other couples on Meadowood’s social media up to a half hour before our ceremony. We confirmed with the owners that she is the only one who does their social media. She was late picking me to my first look with my husband due to posting on social media. Never once posted about us or other couples on their wedding day like other venues do. We did not receive any help for the rehearsal. We had to do that all by ourselves and then the staff was confused on what we wanted done for our wedding day and when. Such as what time the ceremony started and where the ceremony chairs went, etc. When we asked Layne to show up two hours before the ceremony she didn’t know what time it started. She was polite and did end up showing up on time. However it took a few of my bridesmaids stepping in and stepping up for us and thankfully my sister in law stepped up as an impromptu coordinator that day. Overall we felt like Layne was not helpful and we would have been better off...
Read moreWe celebrated our daughter’s graduation at Meadowood this past Sunday, and words can hardly capture how breathtaking it was. The venue is truly enchanting—a perfect harmony of elegance and comfort. I loved the flexibility of having both indoor and outdoor spaces, which meant we never had to worry about the weather or scramble for a backup plan.
As it turned out, the skies smiled on us, and we hosted the celebration outdoors on the expansive stone patio, overlooking a serene pond that felt like something out of a dream. Inside, there was more than enough space for our decorations, the food display, and all of our guests to mingle with ease and joy.
Upstairs, the magic continued. A beautifully lit photo backdrop created the perfect spot to capture special moments. The upstairs space is so much more than just extra space—it can even host a wedding, complete with elegant bridal suites and a charming balcony that overlooks the porch and surrounding grounds, making it an unforgettable setting for any special day.
If you're looking for a venue that can truly do it all—whether it’s a birthday, a graduation, a wedding, vow renewal, or even a family reunion—Meadowood is that rare and special place. Thank you, Meadowood, for giving us a day full of beauty, laughter, and memories we’ll...
Read moreMy husband and I got married here on September 9th and it was amazing! It was the perfect place to get married. We had our ceremony outside with the beautiful woods as our backdrop. The dance floor under the stars in front of the huge fireplace was the best. We kept saying it was the coolest dance floor out of any wedding we've ever been too! There was plenty of space for our guests to spread out. We loved how the bar and food area was inside on the lower level of the barn but had open doors out to the patio area. The upstairs of the barn has floor to ceiling windows that let's so much natural light in and you really feel like you're surrounded by the forest. It was such an enchanting place to have our wedding and we definitely recommend it! Plus as a bonus you can also rent the venue the night before for the rehearsal and/or decorating and there's a house on the property that the bridal party or family members can stay in for the weekend. The house sleeps 10. It really made decorating and cleaning up such a breeze! Everyone was so great to work with as well. If you're looking for a secluded, woodsy, rustic, bohemian style for your wedding, this...
