If you are deciding between various strawberry picking farms - go here. Support these lovely people. We just went yesterday to pick strawberries and they are delicious.

Not only that, but something that I was allergic to got into my eye and my eye started swelling quickly. It was bad. I didn't know what to do and went to pay and everyone stepped in the help. The woman checking me out called my friend on a phone (mine wouldn't work) and another was willing to drive me to urgent care right away. Another woman brought me her allergy eye drops and ice and they all stopped what they were doing and were with me for almost an hour while I decided what to do.

Truly, they're amazing. So kind and helpful and above and beyond. One woman took my children to pick more strawberries because my daughter was nervous and worried. They gave them a pint of strawberry ice cream and a drink to distract them, too (which, I realized later that they never charged me for).

I will tell everyone to go here. The strawberries are amazing. My kids say the ice cream was delicious. But the medical care... Top notch

Support these amazing people, please....

Merk Farms is hands down the BEST local farm! Their strawberries are the sweetest, most delicious you’ll find anywhere—we usually pick once or twice a year, and it’s always a highlight for our family. We also make sure to come back for pumpkins in the fall.

We attended the Mother’s Day market this year and I’m so glad we didn’t let the chance of rain keep us away. We picked 3 gallons of strawberries (yes, they’re that good), and also loaded up on goodies from the amazing local vendors. I’ve already got berries in the freeze dryer and made the most incredible berry crumble! I think we may go back for a 3rd visit to pick more.

Ali Merk is so wonderful with our kids—she always takes the time to teach them something new, and we leave each visit with full hearts (and baskets). The entire Merk family and staff are just incredible. Highly recommend making it part of your family...

Came back for round 2 this weekend. The strawberries are absolutely delicious and after I finished my last full container, I was craving even more! I’m assuming the staff is the family who are very kind, informative and friendly. Pro tip: wait to start picking until you’re half way through because most people pick the good ones at the entrances of the field so there’s tons of them in the middle and end. My boyfriend and I are already making our plans to come back in a couple of days after we prep and store the container we picked today! Come and get these strawberries before it’s too late. You’ll never want the store bought crapberries ever...

The one star is not for the strawberries. Strawberries were delightful. It's the allergies that I had during/after the visit. It's 2 weeks after the visit and I I am still congested. It all started, may be 15 min into the strawberry picking. I and my son started sneezing and had to go back to our car. It just got worse since. If you have allergies, please stay away it's not worth the trip.
