Jemison City Park — Attraction in Jemison

I recently ventured out to find the Jemison city park. There is virtually no indication as to where this location is opposed to a tiny little sign off of Hwy 191 that says Jemison has a park and I was very surprised about this hidden gem in Jemison. It's a beautiful city park, quiet an off to it's self, comes with all the basic park set ups as well as more, 24 video security, tennis courts a basketball court two baseball fields, a wonderful walking track (3 laps=1mile) a big pavilion for parties an multiple smaller set ups equipped with grills an trashcans located around the park as well, I saw multiple restrooms as well as plenty of benches an picnic tables around the walking track.What would a park be without an area for the children to play?The actual playground is well kept an updated with a newer set up for kids to play.This park has it all for a good simple outing with the family an friends, it offers plenty for the out doors type. A group of us were trying to walk the pathway today and a city official decided to drive on the walk path. Then they drove in between the paths and scrapped the whole bottom of the city vehicle on a wood blockade in which had a nest of bees underneath. I talked to the driver not knowing he was a city official and I asked him if he needed help. He was extremely rude and snapped back "NO". He was about to try and drive the city vehicle onto the small walkway bridge and I told him he couldn't drive his vehicle on it. He replied "Why not?" At this time my group was shocked and thinking that this person was on drugs. I told the driver he was driving on a walkway and he replied "I can drive anywhere I want to. I'm a city official." Finally got out to the park after all the rain... My first time over here and it was a as actually very nice all the equipment was in good condition and safe and my daughter had a blast it's a pretty big park with play areas and picnic areas all your party needs except a pool.
