The Oaks Venue — Attraction in Jena

We just celebrated our wedding on 9/14/24 At the Oaks Venue! This venue is stunning! There is indoor and out door options for ceremony and reception! We elected to do out door ceremony and indoor reception. The owners Steve and Lisa takes the stress out of everything if you let them in and help! From soothing anxiety, to helping planning the day, sharing contacts for services.They really do invest time into the couples that get married there. They care about your day and experience. Lisa is a decorating machine! She got the vibe and ideas I had and absolutely ran with them helping me do all the decorating!! Steve is such a fun DJ! He kept everything running smooth ! He done exceptionally well with our ceremony music and reception. They also come to rehearsal and prep everyone and really help line out the day. The day of the ceremony they WORK- they filled drinks dispensers, shuttled guest on the golf cart, helped park cars, cleaned, dished cake, worked as day of coordinators, fluffed dresses, and so much more! They literally fill every void! They do all this work in the shadows of the day and appear to desire no recognition-THEY LOVE WHAT THEY DO! The planning and work they put into this venue and into the wedding really shows out when you see it all in action! We 10/10 reccomend and absolutely loved this venue! They are constantly growing and improving and adding options- we had the new Photo Booth option added on as well as the grooms cabin! Decor- say no more they have a treasure trove! My husband and I chose the oaks venue to get married in November of 2024. We booked the venue in late September and they were able to squeeze us in to get married in November!! They were so so helpful during the entire process and only a month and a half to plan the wedding. The most stressful and happiest time of my life, they made it as stress free as possible. When I say I did not have to worry about one single thing on my big day, I literally had no worry in the world. I got to enjoy getting all dressed up, enjoy my time with my family and close friends, and not have to stress or worry about anything at all!! They had everything taken care of and worked so hard to make our day so special. They went above and beyond for us. I couldnt thank them enough. Not only that but the venue itself is stunning. I chose to take my bridal pictures there and do not regret it at all!! They turned out amazing!! If you are looking for somewhere quiet and just out in the country, this is the place!! When I first went out to The Oaks Venue Steve and Lisa showed me around made sure to answer any questions I had. No matter how many times the same question was asked they would be so happy to answer. All it took was that first tour and I was ready and happy to sign. Our wedding was January 25th. The Oaks Venue was an hour an half from all my family and friends and including us. But it’s so worth the drive. They are willing to help out every step of the way and make it as special as you want it. They made my wedding experience so much easier especially the day of. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous and it’s very quiet out there. On your wedding day they will make it so easy for you so you’re not running around losing your mind.
