My husband and I live in Huntington Beach, CA. and had our wedding planned since 2019 - pre-pandemic. We unfortunately had to reschedule our wedding two times due to lock-down and state restrictions. After the final date change on our part and the stay-at-home orders being extended in California, we realized... why not move our wedding to a venue in an open state. We looked into Spain Ranch and contacted Cecily. She was on it and had us booked within a week guaranteeing to make this process as seamless and headache free as possible. Boy did she deliver. She had every detail worked out in a matter of weeks and all within our budget. We planned our micro wedding in 4 months and it was BETTER than our original plans in California.
First and foremost, the venue itself is the most well-kept and updated venue we have viewed during the past 3 years of wedding planning. Every one of our guests, from Oklahoma and from California RAVED about the layout of the black barn, the aesthetics of the interior, the beautiful entrance of the ranch with the enclosed gate and the all around vibe the venue has to offer. It is absolutely stunning and the best place we could have ever held our ceremony and reception.
Cecily and her team are absolutely phenomenal. With the coordinating services that she offers, I felt completely confident in her knowledge of every detail I was trying to accomplish. We weren’t just “another wedding” to her and she made us feel so important. She knew everything about our special day and made herself more than available to us countless times. She was so helpful with answering any and all questions and sorting out last minute arrangements to make the day as perfect and flowing as it could be. The vendors she recommended (florist, DJ, photographer, send off car, caterer, servers etc...) became like family throughout the months of planning. They were friendly, happy, easy to work with and so incredibly kind all working together as a team with absolutely zero confusion or details falling through the cracks.
I could not recommend a better location to have a wedding. Large or small. I am fully confident the services they provide are the best in the country, with that family-like Oklahoma demeanor. It made the entire process so incredibly special and SO MUCH FUN. Just like it should be.

For example, they offer valet parking, day of wedding coordination, indoor and outdoor event spaces, and an actual bridal and groom suites that are large enough for everyone to fit in. The venue is a little more on the pricey side compared to the other venues in the area but their quality of service and how beautiful their facilities/land is, is definitely worth the cost!
I could not recommend their day-of wedding coordinator enough... if that isn't included in your package with them then do yourself a favor and add it! We had Abby Norvell as our coordinator and we were so impressed with her, honestly we could've gotten married in a parking lot and Abby would've made sure that it was the wedding of our dreams. She was extremely professional when helping our guests and she went above and beyond our expectations on taking care of my husband and I. Abby made sure we always had something to drink in our hands (whether it be water or wine) if we wanted it, shoot, if we wanted literally anything at all she would find a way to get it for us. She took the daunting task of bustling my dress off of my moms shoulders (thank goodness) and she even made sure that anything that need to be packed in our get away car was packed for us. She communicated all of our expectations to every vendor we booked for our day and she made sure that we didn't forget to complete a single event on our timeline. Abby Norvell is an absolute angel. So many of my wedding guests complimented the beauty of Spain Ranch and said it was the best wedding venue they've ever been to. The landscaping, trees, and grass are well kept and make you feel like you are truly surrounded by nature. The venue is very clean and spacious. The venue is so beautiful so you really don't need too many extra decorations. We hosted the ceremony outside, the reception in the white barn, and used the black bard for getting ready. I really like how this venue can accommodate small, medium, and large weddings because there are many options for your ceremony location and your reception location. The Spain Ranch team is very professional and considerate. You can tell they take their job seriously and want to make the venue the best it can be for your wedding. I've noticed that the team is continuously making improvements (landscaping, larger patio, etc) to the property and I think that is a sign of the quality of the venue. Also, Spain Ranch provides a venue coordinator who was easy to work with, answered all of our questions, and helped make our wedding flow seamlessly.
