Pat Mark Rio-Jensen Skate Park — Attraction in Jensen Beach

Poorly planned and laid out skatepark. Such a shame to spend that much money and pour that much concrete to have a park that large with so many unusable parts in the large bowl section. 8 foot quarters/ transitions with 40 feet of flat between them????No way to keep speed especially with the large pyramid missing in the large bowl. God only knows if the pyramid will ever be replaced. On top of the poor layout you have to pay to skate. You do not have to pay to use baseball/softball, basketball, tennis, racquet ball facilities but we’re gonna need your money skateboarders. Way to go Martin county! This park is laughable just like the other skateparks in Martin county. This facility is proof that old people that cannot relate to the youth run Martin county....

So the park has a lot to offer but reason of my 2 stars is I came to the park and I’ve never been here so there no signs of helmet enforcement or anything and I was given attitude by one of the staff there. I asked how come there aren’t any signs and he rolled his eyes and gave a sharp answer about paperwork. I simply said okay and grabbed my helmet. I then came back and asked another question and he gave attitude again for a simple need to know question for future visits. At this point I’m not going to come back to a park where there’s attitude thrown around from staff at a public park. So hopefully someone can enjoy the park with their helmet but as far as staff is concerned I am unimpressed by the child like attitude from a grown man simply at...

This park is dope. Its not free. $5 a day or $20 a year and well worth it. the hours are 4-9 and 12-8/9 on fri-sun. The other haters who left bad reviews should goto the 2 free parks the county provides (for those who cant afford $20 ... cuz property taxes, lmao )

Most days ban scooters and bikes, so its geared for skateboarders.

Kid friendly: Theres always a dude from the county to lay down the law so no illegal stuff goes down.
