Wow!! We had such a great overall experience!!! Banbury Adventures is by far the best way to experience blue heart springs and more! We had reserved kayaks but it was a chilly evening so they offered us a pontoon boat ride instead which was SO worth it!!! The boat is brand new. Amos was an amazing tour guide- we were able to experience box canyon, blue heart- complete with cold water plunge with towels and outdoor blankets and water bottles provided- and Ritter island with the beautiful waterfall. Because it was cold and evening, we had the whole river including blue heart to ourselves. The sun came out and the wind died down- perfect evening. Would strongly recommend this experience- pick a cold evening in the summer, dress warm and hopefully the weather will cooperate and you’ll have an unforgettable experience like we did..

They even keep the hot springs pool open just for us to warm up when we got back! Wow!!! ...

Blue Heart Springs is located just northwest of Buhl, Idaho. The waters are crystal clear and cold. This spring comes from the giant aquifer northeast of here. Bring a canoe, kayak, or a paddle board. It's an easy foat to this calm, inviting spring, and if you're into snorkeling, you will be in great company. It's a popular destination for this underwater activity. It's usually crowded on the weekend since this secret springs existence became known. Word of mouth travels fast, but social media blows it out of the water. I suggest a week day for a quieter time and a feel of what it used to be, before all the people. Happy exploring, and as always, leave no trace, leave it better than you found it,...

Nice little area to kayak or SUP out to. There were many people at the springs, even on a weekday morning. Most people had kayaks and SUPs, but there were also some jet skis. The water is cold; this is not a hot spring. The water is still very clear and pretty to look at. It's nice for a fast dip to wake you up, before you hop back on your kayak/SUP and head back out. We rented kayaks from 1000 springs riverhouse and it was a really great experience. The whole thing was really easy, they gave us everything we needed, and instructions on how to get where we were going. Getting to this place is something to do once, but probably only once. It's really too packed to make it a...

We put in at Banbury Hot springs. Kayaking down the Snake river to Blue Heart Springs. Then back up river to Banbury Hot Springs. You have to call Banbury to make an appointment to launch. The cost is $10 per person (a bit much if you ask me). We had our own kayaks. Not sure the rental cost. It was a great day on the water. Blue Heart was a bit crowded and they allow motor boats in there. Pretty clear blue water. We were there memorial weekend on the Saturday before memorial day. The current wasn't swift. It was a leisurely day on the water. Call ahead to launch at Banbury. They only have so many launch appointments and they fill up fast.
