I'd give zero stars if I could. We wanted to have a celebration for my Wife's retirement, and one of her colleagues had held her retirement celebration at this location several years ago, and because the setting there is so nice, I thought we would return there for ours. Over 2 months ago, I called to inquire about the details, and the gentleman I spoke (didn't get his name) to said that a "formal" party would be several thousand dollars, and he advised that instead of that, we could just show up ad-hoc and order food and drinks off the (limited) menu. Knowing we would have no more than 20 people or so, this seemed like the better option. Day of, friends arrived in advance to get things going, and the staff were incredibly difficult and downright rude to us. They said that we could not bring in balloons and said that if the ownership saw the two small flower arrangements, they would be very angry??? Needless to say, this encounter left us on edge, definitely put a damper on the festivities, and frustrated overall. When our friends arrived ahead of us, the place was dead (maybe 2-3 couples there) and you would think that a large party coming would be welcomed. We didn't spend thousands, but we definitely spent hundreds between us and all the food and drink we ordered. A few days on I am still angry and dumbfounded by how we were treated overall. We tipped the staff quite well despite their attitude towards us. Needless to say, we will never go back, and I encourage others not to patronize this business either. We wanted to celebrate my wife's career with her friends and co-workers, and instead we were met with such inhospitable treatment for simply taking the word of someone we spoke to with the...
Read moreCould not speak more highly of this winery and the impeccable service we received from Kip. We started with a wine tasting and I had a red blend, a semi sweet red, 2 semi sweet whites, a raspberry bubble(my absolute fave) and sangria. I enjoyed each one. Paired the wines wines with an amazing charcuterie board where Kip gave such detailed description about every item and told us about how hard they work to get locally source cheeses, fruits and meats. I love that! The main course items were all amazing; we had the open faced pulled pork with whipped ricotta and onion jam, the Italian sandwich and the chicken pesto flatbread. My boyfriendâs mom said this is the best meal she has had in such a long time and she was absolutely right! All of this with wonderful views and a singer with his acoustic guitar made for a lovely Sunday afternoon. Do yourself a favor...
Read moreI would give the place a higher rating if I liked the wine per my preference. Although I love the location. Beautiful views and the staff is amazing. For my taste, I donât like the wines. I prefer more semi-sweet. After the tasting the semi-sweet were to sweet for me. The dry white were tasty but the taste were a little off for me. The dry red taste were to strong for me. But for the they would pair perfectly with good steak.
I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes sweet wines. They have an amazing selection and are very tasty. And/if you prefer dry red. Their selection...
