My new favorite on the wine trail! We came on a Saturday for my birthday with a large group with kids per our shuttle drivers recommendation and man did he hit it out of the park! As we wound our way around the LBJ park I had no idea this haven was nestled behind it, we all were immediately stunned with the views and the layout of the vineyard. We were warmly welcomed and sat on their spacious patio overlooking the grapevines. It wasn’t too hot but I do remember thinking their patio could benefit from a few fans. I love that this is a family run establishment, we were attended by one of the sons (I can’t remember his name so sorry!) who was so sweet, informative, and really made sure we were well taken care of. The wines were all lovely, but the Albariño really stole the show. Even my husband, who is notoriously not a fan of whites, was so impressed he bought 2 bottles to take home. We devoured the food which was fantastic- cheese and meat boards, the pear and prosciutto bruschetta (my favorite), and the pizzas! Wood fired style with a fluffy crust aka the perfect combo. To round out the experience we got to feed treats to the Oreo cows! They were so adorable and the highlight for my 3 year old daughter, she’s been talking about them nonstop. Overall one of the best wine experiences I’ve had in the hill country. True hospitality. We will...

We all fell in love with the venue from the first moment. It was the first venue we toured and we didn’t need to see any others. We booked that day! From the first time we inquired online to our Big Day, the process was really easy. Claudyne and her staff made everything flow effortlessly. Anytime we had a question, she was always quick to reply. She worked around any and every situation we had that came up. All of our requests were met without hesitation. The venue doesn’t need much décor as it’s such a beautiful place. The chapel is so nice with it’s open sides. The ballroom was perfect for our reception. And the patio was a great place for our cocktail hour while we were taking photos after the ceremony. Parking was a breeze for our guests. Plenty of room. The bride’s suite had plenty of room for all of us to get ready. And the groom’s room had the TV and cable so all the guys could watch football! We highly recommend Featherstone Ranch for anyone looking for a...

Featherstone ranch was a dream come true for our 225 guest wedding! From the moment we reached out to the owner, Claudyne, we new we loved this venue! She was very prompt to respond to any and all messages and questions asked by myself, my mom, and our wedding planner through the duration of planning. The venue was PERFECT for our mid-September wedding. We were nervous about the heat but there was a great breeze at the ceremony site and cocktail area under the lights the whole night. The bridal suite easily fit myself, all 9 bridesmaids, HMU, MOB and MOG. The boys loved watching football in the grooms suite. Every picture we took all day had a flawless backdrop and we used minimal decorations feeling that the whole ceremony site and reception site were so naturally beautiful. All fee's were known upfront and we did not feel that we had any unknown fee's attached to our day. Our wedding day was everything we wanted and we wish we could replay this day over and...

This is THE vineyard you need to go to when traveling to Fredericksburg! We have been to several Fredericksburg-area wineries and vineyards, and this one is by far the best one we have been to. Featherstone Ranch Vineyards has everything needed to make for the complete wine country experience: delightful wine, delicious food, friendly staff, and *gorgeous* views of Texas hill country. To top it all off, there is the option to feed their cows that they keep on their property. For us, getting to feed the cows added a joyful element to our already amazing experience here. This is the vineyard we will be bringing our out-of-area visitors to and we urge you to come here too!

While leaving LBJs Historic park and ranch areas, we were a bit hungry. We didn’t want to go to the wineries off the road but just the opposite. Well off the beaten path, cozy and quiet. Well…….what a find! Thank you Mason. He was our server and also part of the family that owns the ranch/vineyard. This vineyard is just beautiful. Over 50 rows of vines, indoor/outdoor eating, wedding venue, casitas and even Oreo cows! We will be back.
