The only reason I give 2 stars is because the bands were just so awesome. The sound was HORRIBLE. Bathrooms were GROSS. Staff was rude except for ONE older guy who nicely directed us to our seats. The doors should have opened at 6...we stood outside in the freaking COLD for at LEAST an hour and a half all because of "sound check" which obviously wasn't a successful sound check because it sucked. The bands were AMAZING absolutely fabulous and that's the only good point I can make. The only lights they turned on were floor lights even though several of the artist requested house lights to be on. The most horrible acoustics ever. Very upset with the experience. Management at FreedomHall should be replaced. This should have never happened. Even after being seated at 7:30 they were still sound checking for another hour. That is ridiculous. Someone should be held responsible for the insane amount of mistakes made from bathrooms to rude staff to waiting a unreasonable amount of time to even enter the venue the sound being extremely bad for not just some of the show BUT ALL of the show. ALL of these issues needs to be addressed. seriously...
Read moreThis was the worst concert venue we've ever been to. HORRIBLE acoustics, rude staff, nasty bathrooms, and more. Way to ruin an expierence seeing some of our favorite bands. (Staff was rude to other people too, and sober, it was not anything to do with being roudy.) This place was meant for college graduation ceremonies and that's it, NOT concerts. Opened the door and hour late and had about a thousand people standing in freezing temperatures. They also did not mention anything other the tickets about tobacco confiscation. Including dip or nicotine pouches and lighters. Only depending on what line you went through to get checked at the gate. Some people got to keep their stuff. While the next line had to give there stuff up. Bathrooms were nasty as well. For a stadium that can hold 8,500. You can't expect women to have like 10 stalls in the whole stadium. Especially to not miss seeing the next band if you go in-between sets. Over all, a no...
Read moreWe couldn't get seats on the Internet. Had to call because we were outside the local radius. That's the rule to avoid scalping. Not a bad idea at all. My wife talked to a guy who was extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. Five plus Star service. Picked up our tickets at will call the day prior. Easy peazy.
HOWEVER, after arriving 30+ minutes early and walking quite a distance from our lot C parking space, the wife was told at the door she couldn't take in her purse. Why didn't they tell us that at will call? We are both in our late 60s and suffer from serious knee issues. And the countless stairs to get to our parking lot didn't help. Two star service for that aspect at best.
Still, seats were fine and acoustics were very good, so we'll...
