East Branch Clarion River Lake — Attraction in Jones Township

I give 0 stars to this place. They don't maintain shit. They lied about maintaining adequate water level in the damn. They advertise online that the winter pool will be 1650 and you can't even launch your boat by the end of July and the water level is so low u can't launch from the rear launch ramp. The dock was sitting out of the water and you couldn't even pull up to the dock with your boat. And they claim no swimming as they proceed to let people swim off the launch ramp and fish but write fines for people who park their boat at the dock to run in town for supplies. They don't maintain the shore line it's covered in dead trees that grew during the damn repairs and the logs are floating in the water and someone is going to get hurt skiing or tubing. They don't clean up docks or the 55 gallon drums they use to keep the docks afloat they just let them float out in the middle of the lake for someone to hit. There are tons of drums and dock parts all over the shore lines. We the people don't pay them to not do their jobs and just harrass the boaters. They don't care about the boaters at all! The bathroom at the rear launch smelled horrible and the waste was about 8 inches from the top of the toilet seat. As for the camp ground they don't even touch it. They don't patrol it. And they took away the concession stand that used to sell food and took away the ability to camp without reservations because it's not attended. For my girlfriends hole life she's been going up there and now she brought me there. she said it's gone severely downhill. It's no longer capable for recreational use because they're draining the water for fracking usage so they can drill the land for gas. Not to mention down stream for all the sewage plants to have enough water so they can dump waste into the river. We the people need to stop this before they destroy our...
