This location of the Winery at Wilcox has only been open for a few days. The service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere would be appropriate for small get-togethers. The drink menu is very unique for the area and my drink was delicious. The food presentation was beautiful, but it was a little difficult to eat on the plate on which it was served. There wasn't a lot of room to cut a seared, halved, leaf lettuce. The flavor was exceptional; however, the chicken was a bit dry. Two servings of salad dressing were required to dress the amount served and the salad only came with one. When a second dressing was requested it was delivered promptly, pleasantly and with no additional charge. The dessert was exceptional. The cake was very moist and the fruit topping was very flavorful. The dessert could have been put over the top with a dollop of wined whipped cream? All desserts include some type of wine product, which is very interesting and appealing at a winery location. I will leave this review and go back once the place is established for a bit longer and re-review.

First off, this cannot be understated and had to be known by all that read this review and are willing to try/enjoy wine. This brand and maker of wine has effectively made a wine that is spectacularly tailored to gain all drinkers from the tasting scale. It’s call Clarion River Red. As an outsider to wine drinking, I have never met anyone that did not like the flavor profile of Clarion River Red. I personally love sweet wines, like juice. The wife loves dry, like cough after drinking it dry. And we both can drink Clarion River Red. That being said, this establishment is adorable and quaint and very friendly people. Many different flavors to satisfy all levels of tasting profile. The charcuterie board was stout and had many choices to help continue our drinking and tasting. Pricing is average and not expensive. As a tourist this is a must stop and must buy if given the opportunity. As a local I would drink here weekly.

I drove 30 minutes to enjoy a glass of wine and dinner and brought my sweet service dog with me. I sat at the bar, looked at the menu, and was then informed that I wasn’t allowed inside with my service dog and would need to sit outside. It was 35° out and there were no lights or heat outside. Rather than cause a scene, I politely left. This was disappointing and not in compliance with ADA law. Hopefully, the staff can receive proper training to ensure all guests, including those with service dogs, are treated with respect and allowed equal access.

UPDATE was 5 stars. As much as I enjoy the wines made by Wilcox I was so disappointed with our last time there. We are approx 4hr 30min away from Wilcox so we don't get to visit as much as we would like. On our last visit we brought my sister and brother in law along. It was their first time. We had planned on lunch and flights. The girl that was working almost seemed bothered we came in. Very disappointing after how much we talked about how fantastic Wilcox tasting room was. So we opted only for an appetizer and flights. Again the girl working seemed bothered by us and now another table being there. She wasn't rude but she was personal or seeming to want to be there. If it would have been just my husband and I we would have walked out. My sister just kept saying how it felt unwelcoming. We kept telling her that it surely isn't typically like this. Our glasses from our tasting was forgotten to be given to us. For me no big deal I have plenty, but being my sister and BIL first time it was important to them. We had to drive another 25mins out of our way to go get them. Again same girl not seeming to be apologetic at all. I was disappointed that they didn't get enjoy all the wonderfully things we had spoke of at Wilcox.

Service is just as great as their wine. Lots of blush and white wine options. $5 flights for 5-1oz tastings and $10 flights for 5-2oz with a little glass. Live music the day we were there. The gentleman did an...

My girlfriend and I used to get their chicken Caesar salad it was spectacular a few times when they opened their new location. Well we ordered it again on 03/18/2024 and it was the worst salad I have ever eaten. It was a salad with lettuce chopped up, bitter dressing, too many croutons and tomatoes. There was no cheese. There was only three bits of chicken not even one strip of chicken. The romaine lettuce was not grilled as advertised. A salad at the gas station blows this salad away. The waitress brought us the bill and we told her how disappointed we were. You would think they would give us a discount but no it was full price. The waitress and the cook were busy talking to each other but never asked us if we wanted another drink or if our food was fine. My girlfriend felt sick the rest of the night after eating this. I don’t know why they changed the way they made this salad from spectacular to the worst salad I ever ate. The chips and salsa was also not good. The chips were too salty and the salsa came from a can. You would think they would make homemade salsa but maybe they don’t know how. There wine slushie was pomegranate peach and it was like drinking a glass of pure sugar. If I could give it zero or negative stars I would. Terrible food, terrible drinks and...
