Very well done nature center located on the other side of Craighead Forest Park. The setup is very well done and they have a building with multiple floors of exhibits, including live animals, videos, and more. They often put on special events for the community, including children and they offer a variety of classes for people as well. There are trails all around the facility for those who want to explore and you can even catch some wildlife out on these every once in a while. There is plenty of parking, although it can get minimal quick if they are hosting a popular event. There is no fee for entry or parking. There is a gift shop, if you want some merchandise or memorabilia from your trip. Overall, just a well put together venue and an asset for Jonesboro and...

Upon a recommendation from a gentleman next to us at the state park, we stopped in for a visit, and it was well worth the drive. The video on the formation of Crowley's Ridge was educational, and well worth its time. The nature trail behind the center was awesome with its elevated walkways over the marshlands, and the tower looking over the prairie.

Awesome place. Over the years I've taken my son many times every single year. Of course he always wants to hit up the gift shop when are there and buy some toys lol. The Nature Center is beautiful and the trail in the back is a great adventure for a kid. My only wish is that during the school year they were open a little later since children don't get out of school until 3-4. When we arrived after school today they were already closing unfortunately. Other than that, we love everything about it and my son always has a blast. 5...
