My kids really enjoy Alpha and Omega Corn Maze. There is a lot to do, fun for all ages! It was very crowded today, which was a surprise being that it was a weekday. Apparently it was field trip day. I was saddened to hear about the concession stand burning down. Thankful that no one was injured. We were still able to purchase food/drinks at a food truck. There were a couple to choose from. The young lady at the admission building was sweet as could be. The gentleman driving the tractor for the barrels was super nice too. I want to give a 5 star review, BUT the lady at the corn box, Mrs. Dottie, was one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I don’t think she is the owner, but she sure acted like she owned the place. She was telling all the parents that the corn box was her classroom and that the children couldn’t get in until she said so. My children had been waiting for over an hour for a chance to get in. We did other activities, keeping an eye out for the corn box to die down a bit. They had only been in for a couple of minutes before she started demanding they get out. She said she had to have classroom time, and that my children were in her classroom being a distraction. My kids were not even talking, and she kept telling them to be quiet because her classroom couldn’t focus. I have NEVER had anyone talk down to my children or to scold them the way Dottie did. My kids are very respectful and I’m complimented everywhere I go on how well their manners are. I wasn’t the only parent upset by Dottie. I heard several commenting on...
Read moreFantastic Autumn activity for the family. Due to my mistake, we arrived over an hour before they opened. An employee cordially greeted us and offered to let us in early. They allowed us to do any activity that was ready, so we made our way through the corn maze, then let our son jump in the bounce house and the too-cool jumping pillow. By the time we were done, the rest of the activities were open and ready for fun. They have a lot of fun stuff... corn and pumpkin cannons, hay bale maze, slide, barrel train, wagon rides, corn bins, cornhole game, great food, and more. The best part, though, was the staff. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and accommodating. My family does these types of events every Autumn, and this was the best one yet. We'll definitely be back!
Update: 10/15/2016 We just returned from our second annual trip to the Alpha and Omega Corn Maze and were even more impressed than we were during last year's trip. The folks were still just as pleasant and they even added more activities for this year. The only gripe I have is the long wait for drinks or food, but that's a minor issue. All in all, this place...
Read moreI've been taking the kiddos to this corn maze every fall for four years on a fall adventure. The kids really enjoy the activities - the rolling pipes, tricycle track, tug-of-war, basket ball, and hay maze. My favorite is always the corn maze which is a great difficulty level. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to get through.
Some things we didn't enjoy this year (note, most of this is personal preference stuff!) the food isn't our favorite, and over the last two years they've added in speakers that play loud music just about everywhere. Finally it's crowded! This is just because this is a popular destination for families, but be prepared for your kids to wait in line and possibly not get on the most popular activities. If you can come during the week you'll probably beat some...
