So happy to have stumbled upon this beautiful sculpture. You can see it from the dirt road, there is also a viewing area. You aren’t allowed to get really close to the sculpture because it is on private property and there’s like a $20,000 fine for taking photos on the property. I love the artist, Daniel Popper, and I love that most of his pieces are available to be viewed and interacted with. While I certainly respect the owners choice to keep the exhibit only viewable from a distance, it would be nice to admire the small details and precision put into the piece up close. There is so much detail, love, time, and soul put into this piece and I would just love to view the beautiful sculpture at a closer view point to be able to take everything in. The piece is very very beautiful and the meaning and feeling the sculpture portrays is so beautiful and lovely so there would be no reason to not rate the sculpture a 5/5!...

In the harsh sun and parched sand of Joshua Tree, there is a goddess. She rises serenely from the land, both part of it and entirely alien. She is a monument to the sublime. Her face, a staggering thirty feet tall above the surroundings, is placid in expression and adorned with a scintillating mosaic of glass and mirrors, which not only reflect the brutal light but also cast back the indifferent environment around her.

And yet, this is no grand, easily accessed monument. Oh no. To behold her requires an adventure beyond where the pavement ends onto private property. This, of course, is entirely fitting. Because how else should one approach such remarkable, borderline inaccessible beauty? You must truly earn your audience with the divine.

How supremely lucky are we mere mortals to share this dusty corner of the cosmos with her? And how utterly grateful and profoundly humbled one must feel in her awe-inspiring,...

🌟 Transmission: A Mystical Oasis in the Desert 🌟 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As I stood before the monumental sculpture “Transmission,” I was transported to a realm where art and spirituality converge. Daniel Popper’s creation is nothing short of awe-inspiring. 🌵 Setting and Symbolism 🌵 Rising from the sun-kissed sands of the Mojave Desert, “Transmission” stands as a beacon of unity. Its ethereal form, crafted from concrete, steel, and adorned with glass mosaics, evokes a sense of connection to both Earth and cosmos. The dichroic mirror tiles reflect the changing colors of the landscape, mirroring the cosmic dance of the...
