I hate giving bad reviews but I honestly had a very disappointing experience with Brooke. It started out when I thought I had won a bridal bouquet, I followed up with her and asked if everything was on track about a month before and she said she didn’t have anything because I never bought any flowers from her. I was under the impression since I won the bouquet I did not have to purchase anything. The communication with Brooke was not good at all, it was very hard to get ahold of her or get a response unless you caught her just at the right time. Leading up to the wedding, I had to reach out to her again, and confirm the time when she would be delivering the flowers, and then get informed with she will not be delivering them and I have to pick them up. In my contract, which I screenshotted to her, it clearly states that she would be delivering. She stated that I did not select a delivery fee but there was none to select. Also, I will add, she never went over anything with me, she just sent the email and took the money. At this point, I had enough on my plate and said forget it, we will just pick them up. My matron of honor went to pick them up, which you had to call some number and ask for a person, which my matron of honor arrived early and had to wait for almost an hour for someone to show up. Brooke had sent me a video of my bridal bouquet and it looked good in the video. Upon receiving them, they were wilted, brown, and looked like they were days old and hadn’t been well kept. I have attached a picture and if you zoom in, the flowers are brown and by the end of the night, the looked like they were a week old. And there was no ribbon wrapped around the stems, just a small amount of floral tape. I had to find something to wrap around the bouquet because it looked terrible.all my flowers from Brooke were the same as mine, wilted, brown, and dead looking. For your most special day, you would want these to be beautiful and it was extremely disappointing. I wanted to preserve them but they were in no condition to do so. Read moreI really don't know that anything I can say here will do justice to just how glad I am that we booked Blooms by Brookie for our April wedding. Brooke and Blake did such an incredible job making our florals even better than I'd envisioned! Brooke was so helpful all along the way, we talked on the phone a couple of times and she had great ideas in how our arrangements could be used in both the ceremony and reception (our ceremony space was flipped for the reception). I sent her pictures of florals I liked, our colors and linens, and we were even able to talk through what style of vases and candles we wanted, which helped tie everything together. She made an absolutely stunning broken arch as the backdrop for our ceremony and then moved as a backdrop to our sweetheart table in addition to my bouquet (which she even sent me a sneak peak pic of a couple of days beforehand!), garland for sweetheart table, a gorgeous arrangement for our dessert table, and a few different styles of centerpieces for guest tables. She was even able to get some of my favorite type of flower even though they were not quite in season yet, which was a nice surprise! All in all, I just cannot say how thrilled I was to get to work with Brooke, literally no cons whatsoever. She was very easy to communicate with throughout, she took my input but also brought fantastic ideas to the table that I would have never thought of, was on time the day of with arrival, set-up, and flipping ceremony to reception, and very easy to work with afterward with returning vases/candleholders (I think she had the option of her staying and tearing down the event or you/your family returning vases, we opted for us to return vases). Read moreI ordered a bouquet for my MILs 90th birthday. I spoke to Brooke and it sounded like she was going to do the kind of job her ratings indicated. I called late on Thursday afternoon and she said she could not get it out till Tuesday. Since we were already late with the flowers ( due to MIL hospitalization) I said ok. I waited for an e-mail so I could pay for the arrangement. She prefers Venmo. I did not get an e-mail, so on Tuesday I called again. I was told the e-mail was sent, but now I doubt it. I think it was overlooked as on Tues it came right away. I paid $165 for the flowers. I got a picture of the arrangement. A few days after she got the flowers, my MIL called my husband and said never to use them again. She worked in floral for many years, so she knows her stuff. Roses were wilted on arrival, as were lillies. Greenery had black spots and when I looked back at the pic I was sent, there were leaves on the table which had already fallen off. The card was an old birthday card- front cut off and message on back. They misspelled my husband's name (Michael).I texted Brooke and she said she was sorry and felt like refunding my money. I texted back that I would like a partial refund, as she had spent time and money on the order. That was the last I heard from her.
