This is a great little hometown museum. I spent a couple years as a kid growing up here and I have nothing but fond memories of those simpler times. My sister and I donated a coin to the museum back in 1969 or 1970. The lady at the time took it and said she would put my sister's name down as the donater. So 52 years later we stopped in and I was wondering if by chance that coin would still be there. Stan was working, we chatted and he looked it up, it was still there. That was a great time!

-what a neat town.. proud of its history. Very well done museum. Laid out in an easy view and understandable manner. Enjoyed our quick visit.

I enjoyed this museum and liked being able to see a lot of historical artifacts. The staff was also very friendly. I wish they had more artifacts or a display about the Native's beginning their retaliation against the US Army for the Sand Creek Massacre. That is the entire reason I decided to visit Julesburg in the first place. I also didn't like the obnoxious and startling alarm that goes off whenever someone...
