Fort Sedgwick Museum — Attraction in Julesburg

This is a great little hometown museum. I spent a couple years as a kid growing up here and I have nothing but fond memories of those simpler times. I enjoyed this museum and liked being able to see a lot of historical artifacts. The staff was also very friendly. I wish they had more artifacts or a display about the Native's beginning their retaliation against the US Army for the Sand Creek Massacre. Huge amount of artifacts. Really showcases the plains region of Colorados growth over the years. Lots of native pieces in really good condition. Many items from the indian wars. Well worth the stop. And free!...
