The water is beautiful but similar to other hobe sound/jupiter beaches. The beach wasn’t very crowded due to there being a $5 fee to enter. There is very limited parking and police were waiting outside of the park to ticket you if you park on the road (this was told to me why the ranger when asked if could park on the street). Even though the attendant didn’t know if there was parking let, they keep letting people in. So come early or come late when the crowds have died down.
The beach is currently under construction with a massive pipeline running along the beach, between the water and the dunes. IMO, it completely ruins the view and honestly the experience you would expect from a natural preserve. No idea what the pipeline is for but between that and the mcmansions that line Beach Rd, it seems like the preserve is more of a park because I can’t see how any of the building and pipeline isn’t disrupting the habitat of the animals...

SUNRISE-time. Now you all can go into the parking lot, then walk to the beach & see the sun, which is already in the sky. Thanks FWC!
