I would leave negative stars if I could. This was my first visit to the White Trail Flower Farm. I drove 1 hour and 20 minutes up and back to buy an Olivia Rose Austin rose. The rose given to me was not flowering and did not have a tag. I went home and planted the rose. The next morning, I was very disappointed to find out one of the buds flowered, and I was given the incorrect rose. I called the same morning to let them know, and they asked me to text them a picture of the rose, and someone would call me back. I never got a call back. I received a text stating that the rose in the picture I sent was beautiful and that out of courtesy, I could drive back up to exchange it even though they normally do not do that. I felt like they were trying to brush off the fact that they gave me the incorrect rose. I am highly disappointed that they did not care that they gave the incorrect rose or that I drove so far. I had already planted the rose so it was a great inconvenience to dig it up and a waste of gas for me to drive all the way up and back home to get the rose I should have been given in the first place. Now I am $100 down and am stuck with a rose I didn't want. Needless to say, I do not recommend this place and will not purchase from them again.
Being I am not able to reply to the company directly, here is my reply. Wow, what a nice way to respond to a customer. I am not arguing, I know I was given the incorrect rose being the Olivia Rose Austin has no yellow in it whatsoever. The rose I was given was a Scepter de Isle. As a company that is a licensed David Austin rose seller and a professional, they knew that in the text message they sent back identifying the rose they sold to me. I went for a specific rose and they did not sell me the species I paid for. I called the company to let them know I was given the incorrect rose the next day when it bloomed. I informed them how upset I was and told them it was very inconvenient for me to dig out the rose and drive 1 hour and 20 minutes up and back for a mistake they made. I was told that I would get a call back. They did not call me back. They sent a text response to the picture I sent them of the incorrect rose they sold me. I am attaching the text from the company, where they identified the rose that wad sold to me in error, making light of the situation trying to state they are both "rare" variety's as a mean to appease me. I responded to the text and still did net get a call back. I wanted an all pink David Austin rose and spent a long time finding the one I wanted, which was the Olivia Rose Austin. It does not have yellow in the center like the one given to me. It is so sad to see a business say their customers are lying to protect their "brand" when in fact they are lying to cover up their error. Maybe #DavidAutstin should reconsider who they license to sell their roses. Your response to my me was completely inappropriate and a flat-out lie. It is disgraceful a business owner would have the audacity to tell a customer buy more roses it will make them happier when they do not even know the person or their character. I will be purchasing my roses directly from David Austin from now. Maybe I need to go a step further and make a report with the Florida Farm Bureau Federation and the Florida Nursery Growers and Landscape...
Read moreHonestly, this was the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. After touring venue after venue, this one had our hearts the second we walked through the gates. So much greenery and beautiful florals growing throughout the landscape. The person we initially spoke to was extremely accommodating and very responsive to any questions I had. As our date got closer I found out she was no longer with them and there was a new POC, however I was never made aware until I reached out a few times without any response. Nonetheless, the date kept getting closer and closer and the small details that were perhaps not relevant in the beginning of planning began to arise and as I asked the venue questions I began to realize this venue provided nothing but a space. Although they have a bar and a cooler (which had a lock on- so weird), we couldnât use the cooler, so we had to bring in our own personal coolers to store beer, they had no ice machine so my bartender had to lug 400 lbs of ice from the service entry all the way across the venue to the bar. I asked if we could use an arch that was pretty much falling apart and they planned on charging me somewhere between $200-$300 just to use it. I then realized there is no bridal room provided therefore as the bride you would have to sit outside and wait around while the ceremony starts, risking seeing people. Luckily my planner begged them to let me use their office space while all my guests arrived. The only other option I had was to rent their house to get ready in for an additional $1500âŚ. Just to get readyâŚ.. in addition to that the toilets overflowed, in the ownerâs response to my husbandâs review, she states they were down for 7 minutes which was completely false. They were down for much much longer than that, we have also verified with a source that it has happened before. She also claimed I wrote them a letter stating how happy I was, my email read âThank you so much for working with us and being so patient and helpfulâ (to clarify this was directed towards Claudine- the person she has as the point of contact for events). She states we are the first deposit she has kept, and again, we have verified with other people that is also false. Keeping our deposit was obviously a big issue, but the bigger issue was the way it was handled from the owner- that was the most upsetting, we kept asking for proof against the allegations she made against us and all she did was direct us to her lawyers, again, it took them WEEKS to provide proof referencing where we violated the contract. They failed to provide concrete evidence to substantiate their claims. At the end of the day, yes this is a beautiful venue, however, the ownership behind âWhite Trailâ is not to be trusted and as we have spoken to other people in the community, we realize we are not the only people with this opinion. Readers beware, if you decide to book with âWhite Trailâ please proceed with caution, take pictures of every single thing, beginning to end. Iâm sure Iâll be replied with a snarky comment back but we are moving forward from this, and not...
Read moreWhite Trail Club is truly one of the most beautiful venues Iâve ever worked at. The moment you arrive, it feels like stepping into a dream. The lush, picturesque scenery and immaculate grounds make it a perfect backdrop for weddings and celebrations.
That said, as a professional DJ, I have to point out a serious drawback â the venue has a very strict noise limit. Right after I arrived, I was informed of a 55 dB limit, measured from the front gate just about 100 feet away. Iâm not sure if the wedding couple was made fully aware of this, but it definitely put a damper on the energy. The volume had to stay at basically a speaking level throughout the night. Despite our best efforts to maintain the energy, the groom repeatedly asked us to turn the music up â but unfortunately, we couldnât, due to the risk of a $500 fine. With about five residential properties a few miles away surrounding the area, noise pollution seems to be a sensitive issue. Thatâs understandable in a neighborhood, but itâs extremely limiting for a venue that hosts events where dancing and celebration are expected.
In short, White Trail Club is a gorgeous venue and perfect for couples who want a quiet, intimate setting with light background music. But if your vision includes dancing, energetic music, or a lively reception, I canât recommend this location. It's a sonic dream visually â but acoustically, it's a major letdown for DJs and music-loving guests alike. Just something to be aware of...
