5 WATERFALLS OF HAVASUPAI 💦 1. Mooney Falls is the tallest and most powerful waterfall in Havasu Canyon. it is located just a short distance past the campground. to reach it, you must descend down a set of steep, slippery chains and ladders along a cliffside. would you do it? 2. Havasu Falls is the most popular of the falls due to the easy accessibility. it’s a great spot to swim, relax, and have a picnic lunch. 3. Fifty Foot Falls is located about a mile past Supai village. it’s a little tricky to find since there aren’t any trail markers. you’ll see an outhouse to the right, just off the main trail. the trail to Fifty Foot goes down to the left of the outhouse and shortly after, you’ll see a large blue sign with “fifty foot falls” on it. follow this side trail and it will lead you to the large pool at the base of the falls. 4. Little Navajo Falls is located below Fifty Foot Falls. due to recent flooding, the falls look completely different than they used to. there’s a small pool to swim in and beautiful hanging gardens. 5. Beaver Falls was my personal favorite of the 5 waterfalls and the most scenic. it’s a 3 mile hike each way from the campground. the whole trail itself is stunning and has a few creek crossings. we spent a couple hours at Beaver Falls swimming in the pools. there is also a rope to help you get to the top of the falls. IMPORTANT: you cannot visit these waterfalls without a permit. you must obtain reservations prior to hiking. please practice good trail etiquette and leave no trace. pack out all your trash and belongings, be respectful of others and follow established rules. which waterfall would you visit first? #havasupai #waterfallphotography #waterfalls #explorearizona #arizonasbest #thisisarizona

Visiting Havasu Creek requires an expensive permit and A LOT of planning. It’s not a day trip, it’s a multi-night backpacking trip. But, after the 11+ mile hike to your camping spot, you are surrounded by a literal desert oasis. You’ll forget you’re even in the desert. This waterfall is called “50 Foot Falls” and it’s very much overshadowed by the taller waterfalls in the area. When visiting Havasupai, most people skip out on this one. But, this video is proof that you can’t be one of those people. Finding these falls can be tricky and requires wading in waist-deep water to get there. But, I remain shocked by this beautiful hidden gem.

Just past the village of Supai and before reaching Havasu Falls, you can veer off to a network of trails that will take you to 50-Foot and Little Navajo Falls — both small but worthy scenic wonders. These waterfalls are more diminished in scale than Havasu, Mooney, and Beaver but make for a nice side hike if you have extra time in Havasu Canyon. Permits via the Havasupai Tribe website are required for all hiking and camping in this area, but it’s well worth the effort to snag those and visit this...

The first falls of many to visit. Do not skip this, it’s very different then the others and worth visiting! This is way before the campground and just after town. Keep an eye to the left of some pools and make your way down there and backtrack to see these falls. If you make you way though the thicket you can your way across the stream to the other side and climb the hills there to get...
