Splash Valley Aquatic Center — Attraction in Kankakee

My family loves Splash Valley. This is the second year that we bought season passes. My only issue is that the lifeguards aren't consistent with their rules. My 9 year old daughter spent 2 days using her time at the pool to go down the big slides, she loved it so much! But today when she was going down the slides a lifeguard yelled at her and said she wasn't allowed to go down the slides unless she takes her earrings out. She came to me crying absolutely heartbroken that she couldn't go on the slides anymore, because she just got her ears pierced and it's too soon to take them out without the holes closing up. I understand that "no jewelry " is apparently a rule, but the staff shouldn't of let her go down the slides with them for 2 whole days, then on the 3rd all of a sudden it's not allowed. Must pass the swim test to go on the water slide, even with a parent. The pool is 3’6” deep and my daughter could stand up with most of her top half of her body out of the pool. The swim test is the whole length of the pool and 5’ deep. I asked a lifeguard if she could go with me on the slides and the girl was very rude. Management should make sure the staff are kind to the patrons. She had my 7 year old crying hysterically with the way she spoke to us and then wouldn’t even want to attempt the swim test because of it. This place use to be nice years ago. Not sure how it is now because they don't even get back to you to plan a party. After reaching out by phone and email several times plus a visit only to come out with no information but we will get the manager to contact you. I don't know who's managing the place but they are not doing a good job especially when you cant't get a straight answer from staff and a call back or an answered email. Terrible customer service to someone who wants to come and spend money. It's not hard to give someone a response. At least have more than one person who has an ANSWER! If you're short...
