Platte Purchase Park was a great pat to visit while the family was in town. There are several play sets for kids, a well paved walking trail, a football/soccer field and a number of baseball/softball fields. The floor of the play set closest to the road has a couple of major holes. Still is a great place to burn some time. Enjoy the wildlife also.

Nice quiet park where I can go to get some quick exercise in by walking the path which is 1 mile. I've also seen a lot of wildlife in the area including deer, rabbits, snakes, turtles, and even a coyote. Would be nice if there was a dog park in the area as a lot of people walk and let their dogs run around here.

I enjoy walking the trail I think its peaceful and flowers look nice in September. There are also a couple of playgrounds which the kids like to play on . One of playgrounds I notice there is a shelter with picnic tables. And there are baseball diamond fields too.

Lots of open space, semi enclosed soft grass fields. Lots of ticks in the wooded areas. Stay out in the open areas during wet and warm seasons. Lots of wildlife, underground animal housing. During the winter it is gorgeous with the whole landscape covered in snow. The skies are so clear bright moon. You can also see planes flying into KCI and sometimes you get some planes extremely low and...

This park is amazing for people who like a little more seclusion. Majority of the time I go here, there are only one or two cars here. I love the little pond filled with frogs and the trail is great for my kids to burn off some energy. There is also a small playground in the back that my kids enjoy. If you go here after dark in the summer, there's lots of...

This is a great area, very peaceful and feels fsr away from the "city." The playground is very engaging and there is something for every age. I wish there was a bit more shade for sunnier days but I get it. I also wish to gate wasn't closed half the time so you end up hiking a bit to get to the playground. When you have tiny children it's harder...
