At wydannotta lake there three pond White 💮 On off the lake You have sprinkle food 🍕 on around the lake on the ground You feeds dishes or more grass 🌿 to add To help 🆘 people 👭 feed the birds 🐦 ducks What kind of food 🍕 peanut 🥜 butter 🧈 seeds! I have a rescued pitbull mutt and we're trying to get him more comfortable with people and animals. So far we have taken him to dog parks and over to family parties and he is doing so well so as a reward for being such a good boy we decided to take him to Wyandotte county lake with a bunch of people around and he did absolutely amazing. He is such a good boy and he deserves all the praise in the world. Other than that Wyandotte county lake is the most beautiful place in Kansas if you are a nature freak and just want to go out and be around trees and grass with not as many people (unless you go to the beach shelter which is where we took him) they also have a off-leash dog park it's basically just a field of grass where you can leave your dog off the lease but it works because he's good and he stays and it got him some exercise on a little bit of freedom. A nice, little lake, great for fishing or for a relaxing drive around its curvy winding roads surrounded by trees. And for haunted, ghost stories about where the bodies are buried...j/k. There are also trails and picnic shelters and a small marina (not huge, but, hey it's Kansas), it also has a playground and boat rentals and did I mention lots of little spots for fishing.

Built during the great depression in the 1930s to create jobs, One of the notable features of this lake is its spillway with a base depth of 1,000 feet...it's like looking into a vast, cement abyss.

Great for a day trip, just far away enough to get a piece of fresh air and a little R & R. Also, bear in mind, it's not open year round, check for hours and...
