This was a great museum! Ig ore all the bad reviews. There is NO false claims that the Dalton gang lived here or "proof" that they dug the tunnel or did anything nefarious here. The is proof that during the time they became active their sister owned and lived in this home and they visited. No one could ever know the true story of this, so go with an open mind. Regardless if they had ever been here, the historical artifacts, stories, and the obvious oddly placed tunnel make for an amazing bit of history and a great museum trip. They have loads of artifacts and things are laid out really well! We also truly enjoyed chatting with the gentlemen who was working there! Sorry i didn't get pictures cause I was so enjoying reading and...

We had such a fantastic time at the Dalton Gang Hideout! The history itself is fascinating, but what truly made the experience memorable was Nancy. She gave me the most engaging presentation—full of details, stories, and humor—that brought the Wild West to life.

Nancy didn’t just tell the history, she painted the picture of what it was like when the Dalton Gang used this very spot and their escape tunnel. You could tell she has a real passion for sharing the story, and she kept me hooked from start to finish.

If you visit (and you definitely should!), I highly recommend catching Nancy’s presentation. It was the...

Being a Dalton descendant this was special. My Grandma was Mary Jean(Eugenia)Dalton from Missouri. The stories I heard so far are amazing and my aunt promises to pass on many more stories. My Grandma never liked to talk about it.The only problem is finding a family tree to better see the true descendants. I just stumbled upon this place accidentally as my aunt did the year before. My aunt promises the stories that have been passed on to her are far better than this place will ever know but still this was an amazing...

Bit of a tourist trap (and a little sus - there are an *awful* lot of letters confirming it's veracity, so there must be some debate on if it's true) but awfully fun for a pit stop on a road trip. Just the quintessential wild west museum and the tunnel is awfully fun! The house itself is terribly small, but the museum above the gift shop in the barn is pretty rootin tootin. I kinda love that it's not very polished. I came by in January, there might be more going on in the summer, it looked like there was a bit of a stage back there.
