KC Watersports — Attraction in Kansas

Was told they were open until Labor Day and their website says Learn to Ride Saturdays from 10-12. Showed up at 9:55 gate is locked and no cars in site. I was even told by the receptionist that they were open and that Google and their booking website were wrong when I called 2 weeks ago. Really sad I didn't get to wakeboard. I hope they can get their online presence together and actually have their business running when they say they are... Edit: I was told by my wife that the main page had a notice, but I didn't see it since I was landing on the Learn To Ride page. Since I was previously told by the receptionist that the online presence wasn't up to date I don't know if I would have believed this anyway since some pages still mention 2022 and the notice only states month and day, but no year. Drove an hour from north KC to check this place out. Walked around for 15-20 mins, saw one kid make one lap and I left. I think I may have gotten a head nod from a worker but not sure if it was at me or some of the other workers. Not sure what it takes to sell a 175k Mastercraft but I guess I was not what the typical buyer should look like? Guess I will just keep my current Mastercraft. As far a riding the cable, I have no idea. I was never asked nor did I see anybody come in and ask to ride? Neat place and I really like the idea/concept they have. I aasume the owners are wealthy and they do not need to make money which is a good position to be in. Laid back place and if you don't mind being proactive, might be a nice place...
