A very nice little park for fishing and camping. My father and I went fishing the Sunday before Memorial Day 2022. We caught and released about seven Channel Catfish and one Red-Eared Slider (a type of turtle). It's only accessible via a long dirt road so packing a lunch is advisable if you plan to spend the day fishing.

Great lake to fish or camp at. One side has camp grounds and the other side has a boat ramp and a couple different docks to launch a boat from or to sit on and fish. Also there is a designated swimming area if you want to swim. It's always a nice quiet little lake to visit and has a decent amount of fish in it.

Caught another beautiful cat today. Today was worms with bobber four feet deep off of dam side. Been catching bigger ones off points with beef liver and some special stink bait. Bluegill been awfully small, crappie were good went deep. Water is extremely low currently 😪.

Pott 2, a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the small towns. It's really close by but it seems like it's on a different world. I've had many memories at Pott 2, and none of them were bad. It's great for fishing, camping, or just going out to see some stars. Super kid friendly and easy to find something to do. If you ever get bored, Manhattan or Wamego is like a 10-20...
