Camp Bromelsick is a simple camping area with plenty of space, designated camping sites, a reasonable dirt road, a lake, wooded areas, fields, and a large shelter. It has proximity to Clinton Lake. The folks who run the campground are very nice people. We enjoyed having a regular campout there and would be happy to do so again. This is not a full fledged week-long summer camp kind of place; Camp Jayhawk is a better choice for that.

Camp Bromelsick is really great scout camp. My troop come here to camp during the off season and we are nothing but pleased with both the area and the staff that is on hand. The two pavilions are really good shelter with nice big fireplaces, nice concert floors and well-made roofs.

We've had a few of our pack campouts here and they're always a blast. Great setup, and shelters, good fire pits, flag pole for doing flag ceremony, fishing, hiking. What else can scouts ask for! And far enough out that you get a nice starry night that you didn't get in the burbs

Top notch scout camp. The caretaker does an excellent job of making scouts feel welcome. There is plenty of cover with hang spots for hammocks and lots of open space for tents. There are fire pits, a hearth, and a privy at the main camp area and lots of satellite camp areas around a fair sized pond. Water spigots were even available near the two areas...
