Worth the money to drive a tank. You get some extra chances to ride in a humvee and the back of an APC. Range was good instructions and safety procedures were clear and concise. Wish they went into the history of the tanks and vehicles. Super fun course and experience. The 3-Star package also included a machine gun shoot which was actually an MP5 instead of a sten. Tank instructor was great at his job in guiding me through the course.

Other than that my only couple problems with the place is the owners vulgarity which isn't bad but the whole course felt pretty unprofessional. Owner just kinda seemed fed up with people messing around over the past however years its been open. Sort of would like a more slow casual experience. And when picking out weapons a chance to actually look at the firearms before firing them instead of a kiosk and actually being able to learn about the guns and learn how to operate them. Great opportunity to learn about some guns and their operation sort of gone to waste. Of course there's liability and safety, but interactivity goes a long way. Maybe airsoft replicas of the firearms so guests can look at them before they shoot. Like lock and load miami. As of now you just get the gun and they load it up and you dump the mag. Now I love machine guns as much as any other guy but guns are more than just the big bang of it.

Besides that had a blast and its quite the privlidge to be able to...

I'd been looking to drive a tank for years and finally made the trip out to Kasota for this experience. It absolutely did not disappoint. The owner did a fantastic job of introducing us to the safety procedures and rules, mixing entertaining stories and jokes with clear instructions. The tank driving was extremely well organized, staff were excellent at their jobs and very fun to talk to! The Centurion was an absolute joy to drive and truly fulfilled a longstanding dream of mine. The range was equally well-managed and efficient, with eye protection that fits over glasses. Their unique selection of historical and modern firearms was so impressive that we decided to try a few more in addition to the regular package. They even refunded the cost for the MP-44 when it stopped working halfway through. My mother had a great time with the Bren, too! With better affordability than the majority of other tank driving locations in the US and a vast selection of vehicles and weapons to try, Drive a Tank is a must for anyone interested in military history or in just doing something wildly different. The knowledgeable and capable staff help to maximize enjoyment without compromising on safety. Bring a change of clothes though, the Minnesota mud...

I’m not really sure what happened. I went to this business because my nephew was doing a movie shoot. There was no signage to indicate where to go exactly when I showed up. Saw a guy with a camera on a dirt road so I knew he was part of the crew. I waited until he walked up to my car and told me to go back down the road. I did this immediately and parked. Got out, walked back down the road. I waited until it was ok to go see my nephew and the rest of the crew. I joined them and turned around to take a picture. Next thing I know this raging stress-hole comes up to me and loudly proclaims that I obviously have no idea how to act around heavy equipment and to get off his property. It was strange enough that I thought he was part of my nephew’s crew pranking me. Nope. He was an owner of Drive a Tank. My nephew apologized, didn’t know what the real problem was, so I left because I didn’t want to mess with his video shoot by enraging the owner’s hemorrhoids any further. I definitely am not interested in being customer at this place. It’s easy to be friendly when things are easy. I think they are the ones who don’t know how to behave around...

Drive a tank is a business where you can drive one or many actual Tanks, fire fully automatic weapons and even a Barrett 50 cal BMG. It's been my grandsons dream to drive military vehicles and Drive a Tank has fulfilled that dream in spades. First of all there is an exhaustive orientation for the safe operation of all items be it Tank or firearm. This followed up with a fascinating lecture on the history of armored vehicles. Then on t the fun! The actual track you get to drive is surprisingly long with a lot of character. The scenery around the track is interesting at the very least & I found it to be pretty. On top of this the staff is fantastic! 5 stars does not even do them justice. Both friendly and attentive while carefully ensuring the safety of their clients. All willing to explain any of their facility or discuss things about their machines. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a new and different experience.

I've had the pleasure of taking part in several shoots with this group now and I have to say every time they top my expectations from even the last visit each time. This last experience I had was a truly special one, being able to properly experience the 'Drive-a-Tank' section of their offerings, while normally I've only had the pleasure their machine gun shoots. Every moment of our time there was 'face hurting from grinning' joyride. Between being able to ride and drive the armored vehicles, to their wide selection of both modern and historical firearms, as well as the casual banter with the team members. Don't be dumb, listen to the instructions, and I'm sure you'll have just as an amazing time as we did. Never have i had a company experience that's gotten me to actually write a google review, but the Drive a Tank team truly excelled.

I went to this place a few years ago for my fathers 50th birthday and let me say it is one none of us will ever forget. This place is one of the coolest places I have ever been to in my life! Being that you not only get to drive a real tank, but you can also crush a car with it as well. What a blast, and when you end this unbelievable adventure you enter and indoor gun range you can shoot anything from a 357 magnum to an AK all the way up to a 50 CAL. The staff is very informative fun, upbeat and they play the part. If you want some thing different, unique, fun, and unforgettable stop by here and you will find it.
