My husband and I went to visit Coop's when we were looking at venues for our wedding. It was love at first sight! Keith showed us around the property and his passion and excitement to share his place with others was contagious. After we toured all the buildings and saw the items that were available for rental, Keith even sat down with us and provided us with ideas and resources for caterers and other wedding-related things like that. He was so kind and helpful! When we got in the car to leave I told my (at the time, future) husband that I didn't think we needed to look anywhere else. Coop's had the perfect rustic feel that we were looking for and I knew we'd found the one. Keith and Linda are extremely active in finding new ways to make Coop's an even better venue. From the time we first visited to the time of our wedding they added a whole new building with a bridal suite and restrooms, built an absolutely gorgeous, big deck off the back end of the barn, and much more. We love how everything is made with recycled barn materials. It really gives the place an authentic feel. We also love how we had ample time to be able to set things up exactly how we wanted. Coop's allowed us to rent out the place for the ENTIRE weekend of our wedding. How many venues do that?! It took so much pressure and stress off of everyone. As the bride, I was expecting to feel stressed and nervous, but with everything that Coop's was able to provide and do for us, I can honestly say that I never felt that way! I cannot say enough about Keith and Linda Cooper and Coop’s Event Barn. Our wedding was absolute perfection and I’m so happy we chose to have our big day at Coop’s. From the very first visit, everything was fun and easy. They helped me with ideas of what’s been done before and sometimes who had been out there previously, to start my vendors searches. Keith and Linda really facilitate everything you could want or dream for your big day and will always help to make it happen. We visited a few times between first choosing the venue and our wedding, because I am a pretty detailed planner :) But that really helped to organize all of my thoughts and what I was dreaming of doing, and they roll right along with it! I’ve never met two people so thrilled to see other’s dreams come true and start out their new path in life, on the best foot. Our guests have been raving for the past 2 weeks about how great our wedding was. A lot of them keep saying, the venue, the venue, the venue! It was so beautiful, unique, and made our wedding truly one of a kind. The ceremony, the cocktail hour, dinner, and dance were all perfection. And on the big day, Keith, Linda, and their diligent workers made sure everything went off without a hitch and so smoothly. I was truly present throughout my day and able to enjoy everything because I had no worries or concerns. I don't even know where to start. Since our first visit to Coop's with Keith and Linda we knew we found something special. We actually went home and cancelled our other showings and decided it was the perfect place for our wedding. Since then Keith and Linda became more than just venue vendors. They are both kind and genuine people and were truly just as excited about our wedding as we were. But we didn't just book Coop's because the owners are amazing, we also truly loved the barn and grounds. If you want a commercialized, cookie-cutter venue, this may not be for you. But if you want unique, specialized, and authentic, Coop's is in my opinion the best there is. All of our guests raved about the gorgeous grounds with photo opportunities at every corner as Linda has set up beautiful flowers and interesting set-ups. We had a great lawn space for lawn games, beautiful walking paths and corn fields which many guests used for their own photo sessions, and all the amenities you need (bridal suite, groom's suite, bathrooms, etc.) They keep adding every year to the amenities of the barn and all of our guests raved about the fun they had and how wonderful the owners are. Keith was also extremely communicative during the entire process and took initiative with our catering vendor to figure out the logistics and set-up of the day.
