My wife and I have twice hiked from Poipu beach to Ha’ula beach and enjoyed it so much we will return this Sunday! Golf course , stables, quiet beaches, turtles, sea birds. Strings of horse riders and the seemingly private Ha’ula beach all to ourselves was amazing. I highly recommend that you take the stroll. The abundant chickens along the way were interesting the ground near Ha’ula beach was very torn up in the wooded...

Currently there is no public access to this beach. There are signs posted on the road warning people that there is no beach access and it appears that at least some of the trails used to get here are on private property. Locals kindly let us know about the lack of public access and we didn’t see a need to break the rules when there are tons of other beautiful beaches...
