I visited here around 40 years ago with my wife of the time, Alice a wonderful person. I was staying @ the " Sheraton Princeville" a beautiful and new resort at the time. Alice and I went on a " Zodiac" boat tour of the Napili coastline. Honopu Beach was part of the tour and it looks as beautiful and wonderous as I remember 40 years ago. It was ,is now, and will always be one of the greatest boat rides I have ever taken! A must do for anyone who enjoys...

This sacred beach is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Please respect the 'aina and do not leave any trash. The only way to get to this beach is by swimming over from Kalalau beach since you are not allowed to land a boat on the beach. Do not support the illegal boat companies that take people to these beaches. The only legal way is to obtain a permit from the state and hike...
