I stopped there during a long road trip to get a geocache. Did not have a dog with me. Huge fenced area. Soda machine on the outside. Garbage can with broken lid by the gate.

Tons of people were there with their dogs and were coming and going and some seemed to know one another. Huge area. The dogs seemed very very happy to be there. Some barked excitedly from their vehicles as they entered the parking lot. There was a separate area for puppies / tiny dogs but from what I could tell everyone was in the larger area.

Be aware that many of the users seem to have their dogs unleashed before they enter the gated area. In other words, there will be unleashed dogs in the parking area. They seem to be well behaved and were heading for the entrance but it's something to watch for when you're...

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! The park is littered with dog poop, especially in the farthest parts of the park. I have witnessed dogs pooping and owners turning their heads and not cleaning it up. My dog is larger yet very gentle and it never fails that one or two dogs will aggressively want to play while he wants nothing to do with them as the owners turn away or laugh it off. Sorry but control your dogs! Take the hint! If another dog is uncomfortable with how yours is behaving you have a responsibility to take control. I understand that I am partially responsible as I continue to return hoping for different results. NO MORE! I will socialize my dogs at Petco, Lowe’s or Home Depot as these are much more dog...

The dog and I really enjoyed our time spend there. The park is well taken care of. Pet owners are very responsible cleaning up after their dogs. Owners also watch their dogs for aggressive behavors towards others dogs or people. The park has waste containers and clean bags located throughout the park. There is a nice walking trail around the actual park that has 2 nice bridges constructed by the boy scouts. Dogs can swim in the pond, but there was a large amount of algae covering the water. There is a separate fenced area for small dogs to run around without fear that a bigger dog may become aggressive. The park is light up after dark so they have longer hours vs....

Great park for your furry friends. Large fenced area for the dogs to run and play. Smaller fenced area for the little dogs as well. Pond area has a separate fence so you can control if your dog goes in for a quick dip or not. The park is very clean. People are great about cleaning up after their pets. Plenty of poop bags and trash cans around the park. Paths are nicely maintained and mowed. Overall an excellent area to get your pup some exercise and socializing.
