Very clean beach and free parking when i visited. I visited and had a genuinely good time during the day. The view was beautiful, and the environment felt peaceful and relaxing. After we thought it was going to rain my friends and I were enjoying our time under a gazebo. Laughing, talking, and soaking in the vibe. But once the sun went down, things shifted. A white man approached and sat nearby, watching us. He made a phone call, and not long after, another older white man came, then a group of white teenagers. One of which was wearing a ski mask. When they started to arrive they gathered near the original man who sat near us. It didn’t feel like a coincidence. The vibe changed drastically and it felt like we were being watched or monitored, like our presence was no longer welcome once it got dark. It was uncomfortable and unsettling, enough to make us cut our evening short. I referred to them as the “neighborhood watch”. I want to be honest in saying that while this beach was beautiful, the shift in atmosphere after dark gave sundown town energy. It’s a reminder that not every space is safe or welcoming once the sun goes down. Be safe, aware, responsible, and have fun by all means.

Beautiful ecosystem with lots of avians and other sea creatures! You can boat here as well as jetski! I stayed here for about four hours with the fam, and it was so relaxing and peaceful. I hope to come back here again. Good spot for birdwatching as well. They have a bar and street vendor near the beach, so everythings close to reach. The bathrooms are porta-pottys. If you dont like them, you only have to walk a mile to find a good restroom. 🏖🐟🌊🌤

Free beach, $1 an hour to park, get there early and have plenty of spots. Not overly crowded at all for a Saturday. Awesome view of the city. Food close by and food trucks parked, also johnny on the spots for bathrooms. Think this is my new spot. Update: 5.2022 Parking is $2 an hour now. It would not let me change the time to "less time" on the machine. Charged me $5. Hopefully it was just a glitch that day.

It’s absolutely a beautiful place but I have been there for days already this summer and every time I have when the sand fleas are absolutely terrible for people laugh today because of them their kids were being eaten so bad it was leaving little red marks on their skin, I also had to leave today because they have been worse today than any other day. Other than that the beach is great to tan on, I don’t go in the water I fill up a water bottle with salt water to get mayonnaise salt water tan. The sand fleas are...

This was a very nice beach however it felt anything but a beach. It had the sand and everything except there is a clear view of NYC. Definitely not a bad view but the short beach, artificial feeling sand, odd rocks in the water makes this very much the Hudson River with a sand beach. Not crowded, very clean but was not feeling it. 1 of 3 beaches I hit today. Wont slam it with less stars. If you want a HUGE LAKE but really a beach I...
