This is a really beautiful park with a great trail, absolutely stunning this time of year, too. They have a nice playground, when we were kids we enjoyed playing on it. Now I just enjoy the trail...it also connects to Mack Porter Park trail, too, which I think is great. They have lots of soccer fields and also hold soccer practices and games here. And they have a short trail and a long one, which is over a mile. And they occasionally will host a bull ride/rodeo here at their arena...I think that's super cool and I went to it once with one of my sisters and really enjoyed it. And they have a large pond where you're allowed to fish, but I never have. And they have some sort of frisbee game or something. The only bad thing (which is very minor and completely a matter of opinion) about this park is the name of it... Like, why name it after a bad guy? But anyways, there's just a lot of fun stuff you could do at this park and I really only have positive things to say...

My dog and I love this Beautiful place to have Fun and get some exercise in... Have never had an issue until today... We were finishing our time up and as we were leaving a viscous dog that was muzzled and unleashed tried to attack my gentle giant!! Her owner allowed her to be unleashed and roaming!! If she wasn't muzzled it would of been a terrible ending!!! It scared me to death!! I contacted the Kearney police and hopefully he was citated!!! Please do not take a viscous dog to a calming place!!! Find another outing for your animal!! This park has children and gentle dogs that just want to play and not worry about...

Most Pleasant Park in the area. Its size is considerably nice with multiple event pavilions and concession. Parking isnt ample already for the recreational uses available such as soccer and baseball fields, childrens park is large swing set accommodates multiple age appropriate swing seats. Although no tire swing or tramp swing is available. Walking paths are we maintained and not a bit of trash to be seen. Along my visit I didnt encounter any other adverse dog leftovers which also goes to show the area maintains a character of dedication and maintenance by the people who come and enjoy its beauty and...

This park is beautiful. It has so many amenities for public use including an awesome park, soccer fields, long walking trail, disc golf course, fishing pond abundant and restocked often with fish, plus the amphitheater and more. What a blessing this park is to our community. We caught a drive-in movie there tonight and it was perfect. 👍🏼👍🏼

Big play ground, very clean, very safe place as it is obvious the adults are in prime seating locations strategically around the area and I've personally witnessed strangers helping strangers with wandering kids or creepy lerkers. My kids love the spider web. Ages 3+
