The American Automobile Experience — Attraction in Kearney

This is a World Class showcase of vintage automobiles. They are displayed very compactly, are polished and clean,, and the entire facility is spotless. The gentleman who welcomed us was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making sure our experience was a positive one -- which it most certainly was! From cars that I drove as a young man to cars I had never heard of -- every one displayed beautifully with very detailed information cards. This is a must see collection. We were told about this collection when we were visiting the Cussler Museum in Colorado and since we were passing through the area on our way to Wisconsin, we just had to stop. It did not disappoint. Many cars are either owned by the collection or are on loan by the respective owners. None the less, the collection covers cars from the early 1900's through the 70's or 80's. Come and support this museum! The sweet lady at the front/cashier did an excellent job of sharing the history of the museum. It has seen its shares of up and downs and currently runs on donations. The amazing people that donate their beautiful vehicles for public viewing help to fund the museum. Our family loved viewing history through the automobiles. The exhibits update constantly. You never know which vehicles you may catch that have been in films or driven by famous people. There is a huge selection of cars from the early model Fords all the way to late model...
