Excellent park for a 2 mile hike. Moderate incline, well marked trails, decent parking but get there early or the 'locals' will try to move you along while you're enjoying your post hike coffee and sandwich, because they want your parking spot and they didn't get up early enough. there are spaces for about 6 cars easily, so space is limited. the history of the woods is interesting and they were good enough to put out trails maps and interprative guides at the kiosk. After the icy hike up Monadnock the day before, this mellow hike was well-deserved. it's almost impossible to get lost in these woods. Have fun!

This was a nice hike up the range. It's an awesome view when the leaves haven fallen. The trails are some of the best marked I've ever seen. Just be careful when the leaves have fallen because they can become slippery and hide obstacles especially on your way down. Any hike up is moderately difficult it seems and the white trail at the top seems like it has quite a distance in length.

I'm a Project Assistant here, and in over year of maintaining this natural beauty, I must say I have been immensely grateful. I totally enjoy sitting by the tip top area to appreciate the landscape view. Thank you Horatio Colony!!!

This hike trail is legit. At this current time the entire trail is still iced up and the temperature are still hanging in the low 40's so please bring warm clothes and hiking boots and a hike pole/ stick if you have one. Or just use a stick to help you keep your balance as you walk up the path.

We found some strong walking sticks laying around.

Also use snow cleats if you can so you have maximum traction allowed while walk through the icy trails.

Nice for families or couples or if you need to get out and be alone for the day and get your thoughts together. This is the place to be.

Plan at least 2 hours of your day if you choose to visit here.

There is limited parking available next to the entrance. If you find the parking area filled up when you stop by then drive further down and there is another place available to park. From there just walk up the road and start your hike.

I found this trail on AllTrails and hiked up in early spring. The trail is fairly straightforward and easy all the way to the top of the mountain. Very standard duff woodsy path with no obstacles or challenges. If you push you can get to the top quite fast.

Parking is adequate but is really for about 4-5 Cars. I rarely see other hikers or vehicles at the spot. Views are as beautiful as the other pictures...
