I DON’T KNOW IF MORE SNOW IS COMING, SO SAVE THIS FOR NEXT YEAR!! Stonewall Farm, located in Keene, NH has many hiking and biking trails you can access from the property. In the winter, these trails turn into great snowshoeing spots. Stonewall Farm even has snowshoes you can borrow, just grab a pair off the wall and drop $5 into the donation box. There are also maps of the trails you can bring with you. And a cute little farm store to grab fresh produce or locally made products. Stonewall Farm is a great stop no matter the season! 📍242 Chesterfield Rd, Keene, NH Where do you usually snowshoe? **Review for Stonewall Farm Wedding Events** I had the incredible honor of officiating and taking on the role of wedding decorator and day of coordinator for my sister-in-law's beautiful sister's wedding at Stonewall Farm, and I can't say enough about the experience! From the moment we arrived, Barbara was exceptionally helpful, guiding us through the entire process with her expertise and warmth. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a wedding. The rustic charm of the venue truly redefines what it means to have a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff at Stonewall Farm were not only professional but also a delight to work with, making every detail seamless and enjoyable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend Stonewall Farm for anyone looking to host a stunning wedding event. You won't be disappointed!

We had our wedding at Stonewall at the end of Fall 2022 and the whole process could not have been more wonderful. Nicole and her team were simply the best and were so kind and attentive with every question or request. The farm lands are absolutely beautiful and our guests had so much fun wandering around to entertain themselves while we did pictures. The venue is mostly accessible - the main event hall is on the second floor, but guests were able to be driven up a back path to avoid having to take the stairs. Other random great points: the bar service actually had local craft beers, there were tons of outlets to plug in lights/speakers/etc., plus the bathrooms are indoors and super clean! Overall the top notch service and the beauty of the venue made our wedding perfect. Thank you Nicole and your team!

I absolutely loved this venue! The cost of the venue does include both the ceremony and reception site, which is nice, and it's all on the same property! All the ceremony sites are very close to the barn, so it's very reasonable for grandparents to get from the ceremony site to the reception. I knew that I wanted to get married on a farm, and if you're looking for a small, rustic, country wedding, this is the place for you!

They have a beautifully re-purposed barn which we chose to use for our recpetion, and several indoor/outdoor ceremony options (we chose the garden!). It also includes chairs for the ceremony, tables and chairs for the reception as well as linens and you get to choose table cloth and napkin colors.

This is a working, educational farm, so they have livestock, trails, farm equipment and gardens. I loved that our ceremony site had the big red barn and old farm house in the background. Kelsey was a joy to work with and made planning from a distance very seamless.

They do have a bar option as well which includes either a cash bar (Which we did and it cost $25/hour), drink tokens ($5/token) and an open bar (I forget how much this was). We chose to use the outside bar, but you can also choose the indoor bar if you wish. Having the outdoor bar worked out great because they set up cocktail tables outside on the patio as well as the guest book table/gift table and made for a nice flow into the reception hall. Also, it was a lot easier on the grand parents because family members were able to drive them right up to the cocktail area and they could go right into the reception hall instead of going up 2 flights of stairs in the silo.

I'm pretty sure most of my in-law family was sceptical of us having a wedding on a farm, but at the reception, everyone was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful everything was and all of my guests had nothing but wonderful things to say.

I will say, we had a small wedding (60 people including us and the wedding party/spouses), so if you're planning on more than 100 people, the dance floor will be really tight.

If I had to get married all over again, I wouldn't have...

Kids summer camp, the head of department is probably the rudest, and very obviously had a problem with certain people of color. Most of the counselors were great except her. I dropped in for a one time class for my 3 year old son. I sat through the class (half day) all day went well until she took over the class. I was told the class was $30. There was pizza for lunch and my son sat down, she stopped him from taking a slice and I went over to inquire, she's like well he can't have it unless you pay $5 more, right on front of my son and the other children. One slice of pizza, $5. I was like ok... then my son wanted to sit with another child he liked, there was enough room at the table and he was not bothering anyone. She insist and was telling him to go elsewhere when neither of the kids had a problem. Then she's like Mom! Mom, you need to come here right now, as if a 3 year old was doing something so wrong. She singled him and me and she obviously had a massive issue, whatever it maybe, you don't treat any 3yo child like that and stop him from taking one slice of pizza. There was another child of color there and she would come and keep holding my hand, I'm not a counselor and have never been, but obviously that child was left out in some way, her parents are probably unaware of the treatment by certain counselor. Don't bring your kid here. Shame on...

I want to be really honest in this review. I had my wedding at stonewall which was originally planned for November 2021. Due to COVID we ended up having to post pone our wedding. Over the course of the year and a half of working with stonewall we had five different coordinators and it was clear that there was no communication between each one and the last. We had to work against so much difficulty with the various coordinators going over the same details multiple times. I ended up having submit paperwork multiple times because they did not keep track of anything. I was not notified when one coordinator would leave and another start. And at one point they tried scheduling a farmers market in the same area we were going to have our ceremony. The venue was beautiful and we had an excellent wedding however the difficulties we endured was inexcusable. No apology was given no responsibility taken just attitude for the coordinators and...
