I met up with a friend at the halfway point between our houses-me SE Salem her McMinnville- and this was the spot. It's like the nicest rest area ever! My dogs were having a great time, and then, some gentleman politely chatted for a moment, and basically asked about which side of the gate my car was on bc he would be locking the gate, well my car wouldn't be affected, so I kept walking with the dogs. My fiancee approached telling me how rude I'm being because he told him it was time to go. So I herd the mutts to the car and he's waiting for us to lock the gate! Ok.... But it's very pretty with lots of trees (durp it's Oregon) so it would be a good place to take dogs when it's hot. There was only the park ranger (?) and one other person, but it was kinda late. We paid to rent the covered area for the day and I had called and left multiple messages as well as emailed them to have them set up the games (that are provided for free if requested) but nobody ever responded.
