The view of the mountain was beautiful but the clerk in the store was terrible. She unnecessarily shared her political views and hatred for a democratic president. She was obnoxious and did not offer any help. I'm not saying her views were wrong - I'm saying her political remarks were extremely unnecessary and rude. She also said it loudly so the entire store would hear. Not really sure if they gave her a background check for the job, but if the owners are reading this, she's deterring customers, as I was planning on purchasing a jacket until I heard her...

Phenomenal viewpoint!! We have discovered that there is a great deal of snow up there still this year (April 2023), so the parking spaces are mostly obscured by the walls of snow left by the plows-this meant carefully walking above the parking area over the snow so we could see to get some incredible pictures! No restrooms here; just parking spaces and informational signage. A must see on the way up or towards Johnston Ridge...
