☀️ Washington Summers = Absolute Magic ✨ You just can’t beat a Washington summer it’s pure perfection! 🌞 We’re soaking in every golden day before the seasons change. 📍 Wallace Swamp Creek Park 19851 73rd Ave NE #2006, Kenmore, WA 98028 This spot is our go to easy nature escape with the kids. We’re not exactly the super outdoorsy type 😂, but we do love enjoying nature when it’s this beautiful and well maintained. Low effort, high reward that’s our kind of outdoor adventure! 🌿💚 This is the perfect location for that. #WashingtonSummer #PNWWithKids #SeattleWithKids #FamilyAdventures #ExploreWA #PNWLife #NatureWithKids #VisitKenmore #SummerInThePNW #PNWFamily

A very nicely managed park in Kenmore. If you drive here, you'd first see a smallish parking lot with about 15-20 parking spaces. To the left side of the parking lot is a well maintained path that leads to a paved road, which leads to the bridge over the swamp and the creek with the waterfall feature. The road continues past the bridge for another 5 to 10 minutes of slow stroll (if you jog, maybe 3 minutes?), and connects to a road with car traffic. To the right of the parking lot is a grassy field and a well-maintained path into the woods. Except the very end of the road that leads to car traffic, the entire park is almost flat with no incline, so it's perfect for small family with kids and elderly to walk in. The reason I mentioned "small family" is mainly because paths are narrow, and at times wide enough for two adults to walk side-by-side. The parking lot is also in the small side, so if you want to throw a large birthday party and your friends might come in 6-8 cars, you might want to plan for somewhere else.

Quiet little park with a nice paved trail and several small on paved trails. 1 mile from my home so I walk my dog here a couple times a week. There's a Creek area that the dogs and kids can get in and play in the water, very small access now. Also a picnic area farther along the trail. Used to be really great for families with a sweeping grass area and picnic areas by the water but they ruined that by spending zillions on supposed flood repair, which the river destroys every winter. No idea why they keep doing that why can't they just leave it natural and save every one money. It's probably to save a couple houses on the floodplain who shouldn't have built the houses there but don't know why the entire Community needs to pay for that.

As with most parks there isn't a map of the parks layout. Being disabled I use a walker but that doesn't stop me from trailblazing and 4wheelingwalker I feel a map would be useful. I found this place via a search looking for off leash dog parks. It said it was one so Arie my lovely miniature American Shepherd and I headed straight there. I pulled in to the parking lot to find a great space. Upon getting out of my car I spotted a sign that was contradictory to the description of the park. LEASH PETS AND PICK-UP THEIR DROPPINGS bags are supplied. Just about this time a gentleman appeared with his dog. I inquired about the off leash issue and was assured most everyone had thier dog off leash. The trails are well kept and I wandered upon a lagoon fed by a stream on one end then exits on the other end. wonderful! I will return to investigate more...
